Jenny Yoo's (jennyyoo.com) latest collection featured simple dresses, perfect for destination weddings. My favorite: a soft, gorgeous cowl neck sheath with a simple tie at the waist.
As always, her bridesmiad collection was beautiful. Yoo always offers so many colors, fabrics, lengths and silhouettes. This season she showed lots of corals, pinks, blues and greens. Be sure to check out her bridesmaid collection if you're looking for a specific color—all your maids can choose the silhouette that looks best on them in one color.

Sarah Houston (sarah-houston.com) may not be a household name, but is she is definitely worth keeping an eye on. The designer, who launched her bridal collection last season, showed an impressive range of flawlessly tailored gowns that highlight the women’s body.
Each dress fell perfectly and no detail went unnoticed—from coordinating hair brooches to accent rings made of tulle. The dresses were effortlessly elegant and never fussy or overworked.
I love Sapphire, a Chantilly lace trumpet gown with ostrich feathers and Swarovski crystals. It had an open back and embraced a vintage glamour feel. The sparkle on the dress shown here was just spectacular, as well.

There was a nod to old Hollywood glamour this season at the Badgley Mischka (badgleymischkabride.com) bridal show. "These dresses have a bit of a Great Gatsby feel—like you could wear them to a glamorous party where champagne is flowing," said designer James Mischka after the show. "Our style has always been about glamour, but we worked with some beautiful laces this collection that have a vintage feel, like they are stamped with age," said Mark Badgley.
For those with more modern tastes, there was also plenty to love. A strapless silk trumpet gown with strands of Swarovski crystals on the bodice and train and this asymmetric design with floral accents were two of our favorites.

There are a few collections every season where it's just impossible to choose your one favorite gown. This year, it was Rivini (rivini.com), so we decided to showcase three of our top picks:
1. The skirt on this strapless gown was so light and airy. It was the perfect complement to the intricate floral bodice.
2. Layers are huge this season and this dress is the perfect example of the trend done well—feather light tulle is layered over the most incredible lace. We also love that you can get the gown strapless or one-shoulder depending on your style.
3. The two-tone skirt on this gown is so pretty. It makes a dramatic statement, but that's still totally wearable!

Designer to the stars Monique Lhuillier (moniquelhuillier.com) may not have been present for her fall 2010 bridal collection, but that didn't stop her from making a statement. The stage was set for a winter wonderland, so imagine our delight taking in the crystals glistening like snow on soft layers of tulle.
A dreamy dress called Icicle actually featured asymmetric snowflake embroidery and we couldn't resist Ivanka, an A-line gown paired with a stunning opera coat.
"One of the inspirations behind this collection was the season," said Lhuillier earlier this week. "I also wanted it to be really over the top and like a fairytale. I reworked every dress until it was perfect." Perfection it was!

Today we began our day at Reem Acra (reemacra.com) and wow—what a way to begin a rainy Sunday. The collection took us on a visual journey from New York to the beautiful gardens of Japan. Most of the dresses played off the zen theme, featuring three-dimensional floral appliques. As a whole, the 24-piece collection was a frothy blend of grand pageantry—from crystal covered ballgowns to an ivory tulle kimono.
"I was really inspired by my recent trip to Japan and how perfect the gardens look," said the designer before her show. "I think this is my freshest collection to date." Agreed! We loved every minute of it!

It has to be the seemingly effortless simplicity of gowns from Vineyard Collection that makes them so perfect. The gown shown here was the first one from the line to walk the runway and it's just incredible. The silhouette (fit and flare) and the fabric (silk and cotton faille) work perfectly together to create a gown any bride would love.
The rest of the dresses from Vineyard's fall 2010 collection were equally beautiful, featuring bows, a cowl back and a peplum skirt. It's always one of our favorite shows and this year designer Mark Brower did not let us down.

We've been devoting a lot of attention to the wedding gowns, so it's only right we show the maids some love, as well. Gone of the days of picking hideous dresses for your girls—do them a favor instead and choose a cute little number they'll actually want to wear again.
We loved so many of the dresses at Melissa Sweet and Priscialla of Boston (priscillaofboston.com), but these were two of our absolute favorites. Grey is literally the "It" color of the season for bridesmaid dresses and it looks spectacular—this one-shoulder dress is just one example of how pretty it is. The unique neckline on the burgundy dress is really what sets it apart. What woman wouldn't want either of these dresses in the closet for a cocktail party or a hot date?

Not heavy rain, nor low temps nor bumper to bumper traffic could keep us from seeing Jenny Lee's (
jennyleebridal.com) fall 2010 collection. We fell in love with the masterfully crafted tulle, taffeta and organza gowns that seemed to float down the runway.
After the show we caught up with Jenny and she explained how she wanted to infuse her new collection with personality. No more playing it safe, no more traditional—this time Lee took risks and it paid off big time. The collection was just stunning.
One of favorites of the night was this fairytale tulle ballgown with a beautiful lace jacket.
