When it comes to the perfect wedding dress, there are some women who want something simple, modest and understated. There are others, however, who are looking for a gown that will ensure all eyes are on them on the big day. If you happen to be one of the latter, put St. Pucchi (stpucchi.com) on your list of must-see bridal designers.
Known for their elaborate designs, St. Pucchi is the epitome of glamour. All the gowns in their three collections are made from the finest silken fabrics and many feature hand-sewn embellishments and embroidery.
And to add some real star power to their dazzling designs, Jason Priestly's wife, Naomi Lowde, wore St. Pucchi on her big day, as did Timbaland's wife, Monique Idlett.
Our favorite from the latest collection was this strapless, formfitting tiered dress.

My last show of the market was Lela Rose. We headed to their showroom to
preview the seven new gowns the RTW-turned-bridal-designer added for Spring
2010. Like a French bakery, the collection was a beautiful assortment of
treats: the hardest part was picking out which one I liked most.
I decided on the appropriately themed Chalet gown. The sweetheart A-line
dress featured an organza shirt with tulle floral embroidery throughout. The
craftsmanship was extraordinary and truly a masterpiece.
The most pleasant surprise was Moon, a sequin fringe mini, which was a huge
departure from Rose¹s signature structured yet romantic gowns. Nonetheless,
it was super chic and perfect for an after party.

Vera Wang's bridal collection is always a highly anticipated show that serves as the grand finale to bridal market. This year, it was an absolute smash!
The collection was centered around black and white, cinematic beauty, and drama. All but two of the 17 dresses were full ballgowns made of elaborate pools of French tulle draped to sheer perfection.
The majority of the line also incorporated black embellishments—be it a jeweled belt, a horsehair bow or grosgrain ribbon treatment.
And as if that isn't not enough drama, Wang even featured a black tulle gown that was really spectacular! Click here to check it out.

Oscar de la Renta is one of my—and probably every bride-to-be's—all-time favorite designers, so I was
absolutely thrilled he introduced four new wedding gowns this season. He normally only presents a new collection in the spring, but decided to show a few new bridal additions for fall 2010.
The standout of the collection for me was a sweetheart gown with a full skirt embellished with
a frenzy of tulle flowers. The texture gives the gown an airy, glamorous feel
without weighing it down with heavy beading or sparkle.
Another highlight
was the new white fur shawls, which are beautifully sculpted and have a
paper snowflake feel. Utterly gorgeous!
And if that wasn’t enough to
send me over the moon, he added bridal shoes and more accessories this
season.

Romona Keveza (romonakeveza.com) is celebrating her 10th anniversary this year and to commemorate the special ocassion, Keveza showed a retrospective of the top 10 dresses from her career as a designer.
Back in 1999 when she was first starting out, Keveza did a very simple, yet modern gown with an obi bow on the back. This was one of my absolute favorite dresses back in the ‘90s and seeing it again this evening, it still is.
Keveza's Legends line feature clever two-in-one dress.
Long gowns with removable skirt become short flirty dresses—they're perfect for the bride who wants to have fun at her reception with a different dress.
Congratulations Romona, we look forward to many more years of beautiful dresses!

Stars like Carrie Underwood and Beyonce are fans of designer Randi Rahm's (randirahm.com) couture gowns. Her designs have a vintage, Old Hollywood feel and the embellishments and beadwork are really one of a kind. Each bride she works with truly gets their own unique wedding dress.
Rahm showcased her newest bridal collection this afternoon and, true to form, the lace and embroidery were incredible.
One of my favorites from her collection was this beaded dress with a long, dramatic train.
After leaving her beautiful salon, I was ready to go vintage shopping!

Jenny Yoo's (jennyyoo.com) latest collection featured simple dresses, perfect for destination weddings. My favorite: a soft, gorgeous cowl neck sheath with a simple tie at the waist.
As always, her bridesmiad collection was beautiful. Yoo always offers so many colors, fabrics, lengths and silhouettes. This season she showed lots of corals, pinks, blues and greens. Be sure to check out her bridesmaid collection if you're looking for a specific color—all your maids can choose the silhouette that looks best on them in one color.

Sarah Houston (sarah-houston.com) may not be a household name, but is she is definitely worth keeping an eye on. The designer, who launched her bridal collection last season, showed an impressive range of flawlessly tailored gowns that highlight the women’s body.
Each dress fell perfectly and no detail went unnoticed—from coordinating hair brooches to accent rings made of tulle. The dresses were effortlessly elegant and never fussy or overworked.
I love Sapphire, a Chantilly lace trumpet gown with ostrich feathers and Swarovski crystals. It had an open back and embraced a vintage glamour feel. The sparkle on the dress shown here was just spectacular, as well.
