This Week's Stylish Wedding: Erin & Mike

October 27, 2009 at 1:30 PM

College sweethearts Erin and Mike tied the knot over Labor Day weekend at the Mississippi Dunes Golf Course in Minneapolis, MN. Their beautiful wedding proves DIY—when done right—can be so chic. The bride's mother made her gorgeous gown and Erin designed and created the placecards and programs herself! Of course, the striking red against the black and white is so stunning—check out Erin's shoes! Congrats, Erin and Mike!

Simply lovely. From the lovely dress made with special care by the bride's mother, the diy invites made by the bride, the love surrounding them. Captured so wonderfully by the talented photographer. What an orchestra of collaboration!

The bride's mother made the gown??? It's GORGEOUS! I can't think of a more personal expression of a mother's love for her daughter. I wish them both a wonderful and blessed life. Congratulations!

Justifies the title - that's truly stylish wedding in every sense. Don't know if they picked the color red deliberately but it always seems to work.
