Runway Recap: Oscar de la Renta
Oscar de la Renta is one of my—and probably every bride-to-be's—all-time favorite designers, so I was
absolutely thrilled he introduced four new wedding gowns this season. He normally only presents a new collection in the spring, but decided to show a few new bridal additions for fall 2010.
The standout of the collection for me was a sweetheart gown with a full skirt embellished with a frenzy of tulle flowers. The texture gives the gown an airy, glamorous feel without weighing it down with heavy beading or sparkle.
Another highlight was the new white fur shawls, which are beautifully sculpted and have a paper snowflake feel. Utterly gorgeous!
And if that wasn’t enough to send me over the moon, he added bridal shoes and more accessories this season.
