This Week's Stylish Wedding: Rehana & Andy

September 29, 2009 at 12:00 PM

This week we're giving our hometown some love with an incredible N.Y.C. wedding. Rehana and Andy married in May at the Midtown Loft (midtownloft.net) with the help of one of our favorite new planners, Kimberlee Bendeck (kimberleebendeck.com). The city is the perfect setting for their modern color paletteyellow and gray. The best detail of all, though, has to be Kimberlee's awesome job getting the Empire State Building illuminated in the couple's wedding colors the night of their nuptials. Talk about a perfect ending! Congrats, Rehana & Andy!

What fabulous photos of a stylish wedding! I love the unique colors used here. Yellow and Grey! Who would have thought to those for wedding colors?

I also love the bright blue windows in this loft! They go very well with the palette!

What a lovely wedding - truly a dream come true for the bride, I'm sure!

What an excellent use of color and texture to mix softness and romance with edgy, urban chic. Bonus: the Empire State building! Looks like a couples' dream wedding.

Wow! Even the azure blue windows coordinate with the color scheme. Now that's some planning!

Wow! Very chic, I would love to get married in NYC! How did they get the Empire State Building yellow???

Posted by: Deanne | October 05, 2009

I love the blue and yellow colors. Like Deanne, I'm also wondering how they got things to match with the Empire State Building - savvy planning, pot luck, or Photoshop?

Love the use of yellow!

That is beautiful! I think that people highly underestimate the power of yellow.
