What's Hot in Weddings on the Web

Meg smith Happy Fourth of July, everyone! Read on for more things worth celebrating, including great colors for summer and a gorgeous destination wedding.

  • While your wedding day pedicure might not be at the top of your to-do list just yet, it’s still something that needs to get done before you walk down the aisle. The Cinderella Project showed a few colors that will get your wedding off on the right foot (literally!).
  • While we’re on the subject of color, Polka Dot Bride offered a refreshing suggestion for summer weddingsbright, zesty orange. She also gives suggestions for colors to pair it with and ways to incorporate it into the decor.
  • Another great decor idea? Mixing and matching different styles and size apothecary jars filled with candy, flowers or favors. Truly Engaging has some photos and suggestions for where to find them.
  • We loved these letterpress invitations on Oh So Beautiful Paper. The combination of different fonts and colors is fun and eye-catching.
  • While browsing the web this week, we remembered one of our favorite wedding photographers, Meg Smith. Everything on her site is incredible, but we really fell in love with the colors in Jen and Marcel's wedding story.
  • Finally, we leave you with this beautiful destination wedding in Riviera Maya from Snippet & Ink. The beauty of the beaches, combined with the pinks and oranges the couple used in their color palette made for a beautiful celebration.
