What's Now in Weddings on the Web

April 3, 2009 at 12:00 PM

Igcupcakes1 Another Friday, another roundup of the best inspirations we’ve found around the World Wide Web. Read on for some delicious desserts and parasols as photography props.

  • Globetrotting Bride showed us a beautiful Melissa Sweet gown with an unexpected twist—tiny white polka dots! Before you cringe, take a look at the dress. It would be great for a spring or summer wedding.
  • Orange and green make for a refreshing color palette, as seen in this wedding on Style Me Pretty. We love the fun feel the colors give off in these photos.
  • Kiss The Groom presented some amazing calligraphy by Grace Connell. The maps, table numbers and invites are all so ornate and beautiful.
  • On Rock ‘n Roll Bride, one bride had her bridal party hold parasols at the wedding. They add a nice touch to the pictures, and we like the contrast of the orange umbrellas and the blue bridesmaid dresses.
  • Finally, one of the writers on Elizabeth Anne Designs explored her dessert options for the reception, from traditional wedding cakes to cupcakes to jars of cookies. Deliciousness abounds.
