Kenneth Pool Teams Up With Swarovski
Times are a changing and that couldn’t have been more
apparent than at this Spring 2010 Kenneth Pool show. Amsale grabbed the reigns
back from former Kenneth Pool creative director Austin Scarlett (Project
Runway) and also formed a new partnership with Swarovski. “The collaboration of the two elements is quite possibly the perfect marriage,” says Amsale.
No worries, the aesthetic of Kenneth Pool however hasn’t changed; it’s still all about fantasy, glitz and glamour. The dresses in the 16-piece collection have fitting names like Celebrity, Magical, Extravagant, Socialite and Diva—if that’s any indication—and still have its signature style of luxurious ball gowns with crystal bodices and full ruffled organza skirts.
Really, a dream come true.
