Wedding Watch: Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi
Not long after the California Supreme Court overturned the law banning gay marriages in the state, Emmy-award winning talk show host and comedian Ellen DeGeneres announced she and her longtime girlfriend, Portia de Rossi, were getting married. We recently caught up with DeGeneres and got her to dish on her dream wedding.
In Style Weddings: Have you set a wedding date?
Ellen DeGeneres: Yes, we have a wedding date. Planning a wedding is very stressful. It is crazy. I am inviting people…my gardener is now invited. It is getting huge.
ISW: Did you get Portia a ring?
ED: Yes, Portia has a ring. It is beautiful. It is a Neil Lane ring.
ISW: Will you show your wedding on your show?
ED: I am going to show a tiny bit of it on the show.
ISW: Are you going to bring your Emmys to the wedding?
ED: They will be on top of the cake!
ISW: Portia is an Aussie. Will there be an Aussie contingent at the wedding?
ED: Yes. Her mother is coming in. Her family is coming in from Australia.
ISW: What would make it your dream wedding?
ED: It is the dream wedding. We have things that are happening that are unbelievable. Incredible people singing and things happening. It is very exciting.

I wonder if they will get married in their home in Montecito or Los Angeles? We are all waiting to see what they do on their day. I am sure it will be just as great as Ellen's 50th party.
